Tonie Davidsen Brinch

I was born on September 23rd, 1978 and spend most of my life until I was 20 yeas old in the middle of Jutland in Denmark. Finishing high school I went to Norway and worked for almost two years in the mountains. In 2000 I moved back to Denmark and started as a physics-geophysics student at the University of Copenhagen where I met my future husband, Christian, and obtained my bachelor degree in 2004.

Late 2004 we moved to the Netherlands as Christian was offered a ph.D position in astronomy at the University of Leiden and I could continue and finish my studies towards a masters degree in geophysics at the University in Utrecht. In the fall 2006 I started working for Wintershall Noordzee B.V., first in the database and later as Exploration Geophysicist.

In October 2010 our lives were enriched with the birth of our son Sebastian and in 2011 we decided it was time to move back home. I got a job as Geophysicist with DONG Energy E&P, later Senior Geophysicist and in January 2015 our second child Oliver, was born.

Welcome to my website. Here you can find a little information about who I am and what I do.
